High Maltose Corn Syrup

High Maltose Corn Syrup

High Maltose Corn Syrups (HMCS) are produced by the controlled Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Starch. Two grades of HMCS are produced by us. One contains 45 – 50 % Maltose and the other contains 52 – 58 % Maltose.

Applications:
HMCS is widely used in the manufacture of Confectionery items because it improves Shelf life due to Lower Hygroscopity and reduces Stickiness. Lower Dextrose Content controls better Colour Stability, Outlook and Clarity of the product due to reduced Crystal Formation. HMCS is also used as a replacement of Malt in the Brewing industry. HMCS increases the Output in Brewing.

Maize Bye-Products

Maize Bye-Products

Apart from the main products the following Bye Products are produced during Maize Processing.
  • Maize husk
  • Maize gluten
  • Maize oil cake
  • Corn steep liquor
  • Maize (corn) oil
  • Maize germ

Maize husk and Gluten are extensively used for Cattle and Poultry feeds. Gluten is enriched with very high Quality Vegetable Protein which is very much useful for Cattles. Maize Oil Cake containing Residual Proteins and Fats is used as a Cattle Feed. Corn Steep Liquor containing rich Proteins, Carbohydrates, Minerals, Lactic Acid etc. finds application for the manufacture of Antibiotics like Penicillin, Rifamycin, Streptomysin etc. It is also used for the manufacture of Protein Enriched Cattle Feeds. Maize (Corn) Oil Maize germ has a fat content of 45 – 48 %. Maize oil is produced by Expelling Oil from the Germs.

Applications:

Cashewnut Shell Liquid

Cashewnut Shell Liquid

Cashew Nut Shell Liquid is a versatile industrial raw material with diverse use in Friction Linings, Paints and Varnishes, Laminating and Epoxy Resins, Foundry Chemicals and as an Intermediary of chemicals.

 

Cashew Nut Shell Liquid conforms to IS 840 of Bureau of Indian Standards. The residue after extraction of Cashewnut Shell Liquid is Shell Cake, which is a very useful fuel and a substitute for firewood.  The innumerable industrial applications of CNSL are based on the fact that it lends itself to Polymerization by various means. Simple phenols from petrochemicals have restrictions and hence the ranges of products obtained from them are a few.

 

The following Polymerizations can be carried out with CNSL.

 

  • Addition polymerization the side chain double bonds.

  • Condensation polymerization at the ortho and para positions of the ring with phenolic various chemicals.

  • Polymerization after chemical modification.

  • Oxidative polymerization.

  • Polymerization by physical means: heat, pressure, radiation, and electrical discharge.

  • Various combinations of above methods.

Colour shall be not deeper than dark brown when viewed by transmitted light.
